IT Sales Executive

At Invento Software Limited, we’re seeking an experienced IT sales representative to help us sell the retail POS Software and services that our customers have grown to rely on.

Objectives of this Role

  • Sales presentations and service demonstrations will be part of the job, as will contract negotiations with potential clients.
  • Must have computer skills and the ability to learn new software products. Should be able to demonstrate the software to potential clients.
  • Needs to be proficient in email communication, proposal documentation, negotiation, and business communication.
  • Generate leads and build relationships by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on existing or potential sales outlets.
  • Able to demonstrate our Cloud-based POS software to customers effectively.


  • Visit the market frequently to find new customers and business prospects.
  • Follow and execute the instruction of the management to implement sales in the market.
  • Research, prospect, and develop leads for corporate partnerships, such as managing relationships with current important customers and establishing ties with new clients.
  • Generate sales over the phone and email.
  • Educating customers about the services and their benefits in order to get the most out of the software.
  • Providing customer support and, as necessary, escalating complex issues to the appropriate departments.
  • Developing a comprehensive understanding of the company’s products.
  • Keep records of all sales, customer appointments, and complaints.
  • Coordinating with the marketing division to make sure the business is reaching its target market.


Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 2-3 years in sales within an IT company setting
  • Must have knowledge of Cloud-based software, POS Software, ERP, Website Sales, etc.
  • Proficiency with sales management software and CRM
  • Ability to travel at least 50% of the time to customer events
  • Ability to balance persuasion with professionalism
  • Strong organizational skills
