Mumbai, India – 11 September 2025:
At the Frappeverse India Tech Conference 2025, Aubdulla Al Munim, Co-founder and Managing Director of Invento Software Limited, delivered an insightful presentation on Invento’s decade-long journey with ERPNext and introduced two significant solutions designed to enhance compliance and development efficiency.
A Decade of ERPNext Excellence
Munim started by talking about Invento Software Limited’s steady work with ERPNext since 2015. For the past ten years, the company has finished over 600 ERPNext projects. They have worked with clients in Bangladesh, the UAE, the UK, Saudi Arabia, the USA, and Europe. With a team of 30 people, Invento has grown its skills beyond the local area and is now a reliable partner for businesses everywhere.

Smart VAT Chalan for Bangladeshi Compliance
A key part of Munim’s talk on Frappeverse India 2025 was Smart VAT Challan, a tool created to follow the changing tax rules in Bangladesh.
Because the government wants all business deals connected to the National Board of Revenue (NBR), Invento has created a custom application to integrate with Smart VAT Challan to automatically send invoicing data in real-time.
The system integrates with NBR and VAT reports, making sure data goes right to the NBR portal.
Main Points:
- Error Handling & Sync: If the system fails, they can be re-synced to keep things going smoothly, even if there are technical issues.
- Tax Policy Updates: When the government changes tax and VAT rules, the system updates automatically.
- Challans in Government Format: Businesses can get VAT challans in the right official formats directly from the system.
- Dashboard Views: A dashboard also gives you an overview of the VAT integration

Smart VAT Challan is in beta phase now and should be ready for full use by the end of October 2025. This is a step forward in helping companies in Bangladesh, mainly retail businesses with many locations, stay compliant and run well even with changing rules.
Frappe Docker Manager: Simplifying Development Environments
Aubdulla Al Munim also introduced the Frappe Docker Manager, a tool designed to streamline ERPNext development for teams working across varied technology stacks.
- Developers can now create new sites with a single script, which automatically downloads Frappe, ERPNext, and any required custom apps.
- The system improves user-friendliness by reducing dependency on manual Docker commands, making it particularly valuable for fresh developers.
Features include:
- Simple File Sharing: Easy transfer of data and files between host systems and Docker environments.
- Command Line Access: Developers can check running instances, logs, and resource consumption directly from the CLI.
- Prerequisite Package Installation: Simplifies setup for developers without advanced Docker expertise.
The Frappe Docker Manager is already publicly available on GitHub, and the Invento team welcomes contributions, issue reports, and collaboration from the global community.
Commitment to Open Source Growth
Mr. Munim ended his talk by saying Invento Software is still dedicated to boosting ERPNext use, automating compliance, and growing open-source tools. Smart VAT Chalan and Frappe Docker Manager show Invento’s goal to give businesses and developers practical, scalable, and community-based solutions.
“Our goal is to make compliance easier for businesses and development faster for teams worldwide. By sharing our work with the open-source community, we are creating tools that benefit not only Bangladesh but also the global ERPNext ecosystem.” – Aubdulla Al Munim
