ERP prices in Bangladesh, 2026
ERP software price in Bangladesh: the software is the cheap part.
A 20-person company in Bangladesh usually spends Tk 7.5 to 23.5 lakh in the first year of an ERPNext or Odoo project. A 100-person company spends Tk 26 to 94 lakh. Most of that money pays for setting the system up, not for the software.
Three quotes. One business. Which one is the real price?

Three quotes, one business
All three say "ERP". So why is one 20 times the price of another?
Picture a trading company in Dhaka with 20 people. Stock sits in two warehouses. Orders arrive by phone and WhatsApp. Closing the books each month takes a week of spreadsheets.
The owner asks three companies for an ERP price and gets back Tk 55,000, Tk 4 lakh and Tk 12 lakh.
The first clue is in the words. Quote A sells ready-made software: you learn its screens and change how you work to fit it. Quotes B and C sell a project: the system is set up around how this business already works.
That is the difference between a ready-made shirt and a tailored suit. To see what B and C really cost, the owner has to look at what each one includes.
The software fee, October 2026
Most of the bill is the work, not the software.
Quotes B and C both used one of the two systems most Bangladeshi companies choose: ERPNext or Odoo. They charge for the software in very different ways.
- Software feeFree. No fee per user, however many people use it.
- Where it runsOn Frappe Cloud from about Tk 615 a month, or on your own server.
- UpdatesIncluded on Frappe Cloud. On your own server, your partner does them.
- Software feeFree version (Community). Paid version (Enterprise) about Tk 1,100 to 2,020 per user a month.
- Where it runsThe paid version includes Odoo's own cloud. The free version runs on your own server.
- UpdatesIncluded in the paid version. On the free version, your partner does them.
Sources: ERPNext pricing and Odoo pricing, as shown in Bangladesh. Odoo's paid plans are cheaper in the first year, and its higher plan went up by 20% on 24 September 2026.
Seven costs
Seven things decide your price.
If the software is cheap, where does the money go? The owner put quotes B and C side by side. Quote C priced all seven of these. Quote B priced only four.
How many people use it
More people means more training, and on Odoo's paid version a bigger monthly fee.
Which parts you need
Accounts, stock, sales and buying are the usual start. Factory, payroll and shop counters each add work.
Changes for your business
Anything you do differently from the standard screens. This cost varies most, from Tk 1 lakh to over Tk 30 lakh.
Moving your old data
Customers, products, stock and balances, moved over and checked line by line. Usually Tk 1 to 5 lakh.
Where it runs
A cloud server or the software maker's own cloud. From under Tk 1,000 to tens of thousands of taka a month.
Training your team
Each team learns its own part of the system. Usually Tk 1 to 6 lakh, depending on team size.
Help after launch
A yearly support contract, usually 15 to 20% of what the project cost.
Missing from Quote B
Moving old data, training and the server. They still have to be paid for, just later.

| Training | 1 to 2 | 1 to 2 | 1 to 2 | 1 to 2 |

| Total | 7.5 to 18 | 8.5 to 21 | 8.5 to 15 | 11.5 to 23.5 |
Odoo's standard paid plan does not allow changes, so it suits a business happy with the normal screens. Odoo's free version needs a little more change work, because some paid features have to be added.
The owner's Tk 12 lakh quote sits inside these ranges. The Tk 4 lakh quote sits below all of them.
A 100-person company, five years
The gap opens after the first year.
The owner plans to grow to 100 people in three years, with a second branch. So the real question is what the system costs over five years.

|---|---|---|---|
| First year | 26 to 70 | 29 to 76 | 50 to 94 |

| Five years in total | 46 to 134 | 49 to 144 | 166 to 254 |

No software fee, so each year you pay for the server and support. You or your partner look after the server and the updates.
The paid version adds about Tk 24 lakh a year for 100 people. In return, Odoo runs the server, supports the software and does the updates.
Headcount is the number to watch. If many of the 100 people only clock in or claim expenses, Odoo's cheaper "light user" option, added in September 2026, can lower the fee. Ask your partner to price the people you actually have.
After launch
Every year after launch has a bill too.
Going live is the start of the system's life, not the end of the spending. Four costs come back every year.
Support
15 to 20% of the project cost, every year.
Server
Tk 600 to 35,000 a month, depending on size.
Updates
Included on Frappe Cloud and Odoo's paid version. Otherwise your partner does them.
Extra apps
Free to a few thousand taka a month each.
Two costs people forget
VAT forms
Bangladesh VAT forms such as Mushak 6.3 are not built in to either system and need local setup.
A person to own it
Someone in your team answers questions and keeps the data clean. Their time is a real cost.
What the quote said, what it cost
The lowest quote was not the lowest cost.
Back to the owner's three quotes. Add what each one left out, and the real first-year price appears.
On paper Tk 55,000
- Set up around how you work
- Moving old data and training
- Changes later on
On paper Tk 4 lakh
- Setup and some changes
- Moving old data, Tk 1 to 2.5 lakh
- Training and server, Tk 1.4 to 2.7 lakh
On paper Tk 12 lakh

- Moving old data and training
- Server and support
Quote B looked like a third of Quote C. Once finished, it is closer to two thirds, and the missing work would show up halfway through the project. Quote A is the cheapest software, but only if the business changes to fit it.
Before you sign
Ask every company to price the same list.
The owner's last step was simple: send one list to every company and ask for a price on each line. Then the quotes can finally be compared.

How much does ERP software cost in Bangladesh?
For an ERPNext or Odoo project, a 20-person company usually spends Tk 7.5 to 23.5 lakh in the first year, and a 100-person company Tk 26 to 94 lakh. Ready-made local software starts from about Tk 50,000, but does less.
Is ERPNext really free?
Yes, the software is free, with no fee per user. You still pay for the server, setup, moving your data, training and support.
How much does Odoo cost per user in Bangladesh?
Odoo's paid version costs about $8.95 (Tk 1,100) or $16.40 (Tk 2,020) per user a month, paid yearly, and less in the first year. Odoo's free version (Community) has no fee.
Is Odoo's free version cheaper than the paid one over five years?
Usually yes, because there is no monthly fee. But the paid version includes the server, support and updates, which free-version users pay for separately.
How long does it take to set up an ERP?
Usually 2 to 3 months for a small company, 4 to 6 months for a mid-sized one, and 6 to 9 months for a large company with several branches.
What does an ERP cost after it goes live?
Yearly support of about 15 to 20% of the project cost, plus the server, updates and any extra apps.
Does ERP software handle Bangladesh VAT forms?
Not out of the box, in either system. Local partners set up VAT and forms such as Mushak 6.3. Ask for it to be priced in the quote.
Why don't ERP companies publish their prices?
Because most of the cost depends on your business: how many people, which parts, how many changes, and how much data. A published price can only be a range, like the ones in this guide.
