Invento at Frappeverse Mumbai 2026
Start with the platform. Finish with the business.
ERPNext gives you the platform. On the Frappeverse stage we showed three builds we added on top of it, for the operating details a business runs on.

The useful part started with conversation.
Frappeverse brings together people who build, implement, and use open source business software. The team met customers, partners, business analysts, and developers who work with the same platform in very different markets.
Those conversations gave context to the stage presentation. They also reinforced a lesson from years of ERP work: the detail that looks small from outside can decide whether a system works for the people inside the business.

Three live demonstrations
What Invento brought to the stage
Each demonstration began where a standard process stopped and a real business needed more.

A made to order apparel workflow
Every garment carries its own measurements, materials, design choices, and production notes. Invento created one Order Sheet to hold that detail and connect it to manufacturing.
A barcode canvas lets users control labels and item information without requesting a new layout from a developer.

Import and Export LC management
ERPNext already handles buying, selling, currency, and landed cost. Invento added the trade document flow around those transactions.
Proforma invoices, insurance, LCs, margins, commercial invoices, receipts, and landed cost now follow one connected process.

Frappe Copilot
Frappe Copilot reads the live site before it makes a change. It can see custom fields and settings that do not exist in the code repository.
On stage, it avoided a field conflict, made no core edits, found a syntax error, corrected the file, and checked the code again.

The idea behind all three
What good ERPNext customization looks like
Good implementation does not force every company into the same process.
It uses the strength of ERPNext, studies how work really moves, and adds only what the business needs. That is the approach Invento took to Mumbai and the standard the team brought back to Dhaka.
